Last summer Dr. Norman Evans performed follicle density testing on Royal Star and his results were very favorable. Royal Star falls into the top 5% of all of these high quality males that are tested with an S:P ratio of 11.4 to 1 and a density of 54.5 follicles/SQmm.
His paternal & maternal lines include ACCOYO Vengador, Hemingway & Bueno. He has a very high frequency Merino/Vicuna style fleece that gives him the finest handle paralleled by his low micron counts. Royal Star is an extraordinarily dense alpaca, evident in all of his pictures. His bright fleece carries its character evenly from skin to tip!
